Arts in the Park
Free Community Festival!

Saturday, October 5, 2024 | 10 am - 3 pm

Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of Chesapeake Arts Center’s (CAC) Arts in the Park Free Festival! This milestone event will bring together over 1,000 local residents, art enthusiasts, and community organizations for a day of vibrant entertainment, delicious food, interactive art activities, stunning art displays, and exciting giveaways.

This year, our 10 annual Arts in the Park is shaping up to be our biggest, most exciting event to date. We hope to bring even more arts exposure to our ever growing creative community, including having a few surprises up our sleeve. We can’t wait, and hope to see you there!

This family-friendly festival will be held in front of CAC’s Hammonds Lane Theatre at 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225.

Other Festival Highlights

CAC Membership Sale: Special $20 CAC membership sale at the festival. Save $15 - $30 on the regular price of an individual or family membership if you purchase a membership that day — and receive benefits all year long.

CAC Ceramics Seconds Sale Fundraiser: The sale features "seconds"—imperfect but beautiful pottery donated by local artists and CAC students. These discounted pieces are available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting CAC education scholarships for ceramics and enhancing the ceramics program at CAC. 

Go Green at CAC: This year at Arts in the Park, bring your own water bottle, we will have water-filling stations located throughout the festival!

Free Flu Shots: University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center will be offering flu vaccinations for ages 3 and up and hospital resources and education!

Door Prizes and Giveaways: Stop by the Chesapeake Art Center’s Info booth to register for door prizes and giveaways.
