CAC’s 10th Annual Arts in the Park
Free Community Festival!

Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of Chesapeake Arts Center’s (CAC) Arts in the Park Free Festival! This milestone event will bring together over 1,000 local residents, art enthusiasts, and community organizations for a day of vibrant entertainment, delicious food, interactive art activities, stunning art displays, and exciting giveaways.
This year, our 10 annual Arts in the Park is shaping up to be our biggest, most exciting event to date. We hope to bring even more arts exposure to our ever growing creative community, including having a few surprises up our sleeve. We can’t wait, and hope to see you there!
This family-friendly festival will be held in front of CAC’s Hammonds Lane Theatre at 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225.

This event is free and open to the general public, rain or shine. There will be activities for all ages and skill levels. Public and handicap accessible restrooms and parking will be available. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
- Provided FREE creative arts experiences to more than 1450 students through grant-funded programs
- Hosted more than 400 arts classes serving nearly 3k students of all ages
- Distributed scholarships to more than 50 students to access arts classes for free or t reduced rates
- Presented 16 exhibitions highlighting work from 217 artists. Nearly 1,000 people attended receptions.
- Expanded our education offerings with a new ceramics studio; the Mini Makers free arts program for pre-k students; and expanded our free STEAM-based art program School’s OutMini Camps!
- Our theatres served over 45k people, 28k attending CAC sponsored events
