Kim Kelly is a local photographer, currently exhibiting in the “Maryland the Beautiful” exhibit here at CAC. Kim’s passion for photography goes back to 1978 when she received her first camera as a college graduation gift. Her images have been featured in local magazines and she has participated in several exhibits including her own one women show. Her images have been selected by several businesses to adorn their walls; including Coldwell Banker Realty and KHovnanian Homes.

He presented art, and the value of dedicating oneself to a rigorous discipline, as a portal to understanding and engaging a myriad of intersections that bond, unite, and transcend experience and awareness. In other words, Worthington could routinely present Rembrandt or Cezanne, link one or the other to the athleticism of the Olympics, and bundle it all into a poem by Dylan Thomas. He presented art as this all-inclusive arena of understanding and self actualization. I signed the dotted line and went all in.”
Read More“I grew up in an artistic household. My mother is a stained glass artist, and my parents ran a stained glass business throughout my growing up. As a result, I've always has a special appreciation for the interaction of line and shape and the intersection of geometric and organic forms. Color and light and how they are manipulated have also always keenly interested me. I don't know that there has very been a time when others didn't refer to me as an artist, so I suppose the answer is always. I try to instill that same mindset into my students. If you are creating, you are an artist!”

Read MoreNick Wilson is the MakerSpace Manager at CAC which means he spends his time designing our shop training programs, writing class curriculum, and setting up partnerships with schools and other nonprofits. Most days you’ll find him hosting open studio or teaching MakerSpace classes and workshops. When he’s not at CAC, however, Nick spends his time working on his boutique electric guitar company, Prophecy Instruments, which features incredible hand-crafted guitars. He’s also a freelance graphic designer, specializing in band logos for heavy and alternative music genres.

Read MoreAs the CAC’s Artistic Director, Nicole Caracia spends her days developing and implementing the artistic vision and focus of the organization. She oversees the Education department and works with the team to provide field-trips, after-school programs, workshops and classes. Additionally, Nicole determines all the "CAC presents" performances that take place at the center, including the gallery exhibits in the Hal Gomer gallery.
When she’s not at the CAC, Nicole is an award-winning photographer and photography teacher, wife and mom to two little girls. Nicole’s diverse portfolio includes bands, landscapes, animals, portraits , models and weddings. And she’s a photography teacher at BPMS and CAC as well.
