Tony Spencer is a visual artist, poet, performer, composer, and storyteller who was born and raised in Anne Arundel County. He is known as an exceptional community member and regional artist, his work having been shown in numerous exhibitions throughout Maryland and more. Chesapeake Arts Center is proud to present an exhibition of his painting and quilting work in Gallery 194 this September and October. His thoughtful, layered approach to painting and the subject matter behind it is going to make this a can’t-miss exhibition! Join us on November 9th for an opening reception and a chance to meet the artist.
