Join us as we partner with Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area for the 16th annual Maryland Day Celebration! Maryland Day celebrations in Anne Arundel County are a hit with family and friends getting together to experience the local history, culture and heritage of the region. This year’s celebration takes place March 31, 2023 - April 2, 2023 and focuses on stories that matter throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Chesapeake Arts Center will embrace this Maryland Day weekend with fun activities for all ages! Come create a DIY crab keychain, get your hands dirty by creating clay crab sculptures, step into our galleries and experience the artwork from local artists or enjoy Echoes of Nature workshop that will take us on a tour across Maryland, its habitats and the animals that call those habitats home.
