Be a Chesapeake Arts Center volunteer!
CAC has an array of volunteer opportunities offered throughout the year to help CAC carry out our mission and serve our community through the arts. We welcome individual volunteers or volunteer groups who want to share their time and talents with our community. The time commitment varies with each volunteer role and all are flexible based on your availability.
Requirements:
Volunteers must be 18 years or older, but individuals who are 16-17 years of age may volunteer with a parent or guardian’s permission. All volunteers must complete a CAC application, consent to a background check to be considered, and undergo training for their volunteer role.
CAC is currently seeking volunteers to:
serve as ushers for performances in our theaters
provide administrative support in our offices
represent CAC at community events
assist with special events and gallery exhibits (upcoming events include our Open House on April 15, 2023, Golf Tournament on May 17, 2023, and Arts in the Park on September 30, 2023.)
assist students of all ages in our classes and MakerSpace
