Lauren Lowell, Performing Arts Chair
Lauren Lowell has been working with Performing Arts programs for over 25 years. Her true passion is sharing her love of theatre with children and teens. Currently, she directs shows with STAR, Ltd. (Chicago: Teen Edition, Urinetown, The Grunch, and James and the Giant Peach Jr.) and Chesapeake Arts Center (Willy Wonka Kids, Charlotte’s Web, and Annie Jr.) where she also holds the position of Performing Arts Chair. She’s the Director for the Catonsville High School theatre department productions (Shrek, Puffs, Once Upon a Mattress, Alice in Wonderland, Addams Family, and Legally Blonde). Lauren has appeared in many local theatre productions over the years, such as Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls, Heathers, Sweeney Todd, and Titanic. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, seeing local theatre and Broadway productions, and going to concerts with friends.
