Kelly Koorey, MS, MCHES
Kelly Koorey is the Manager of Community Health for the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC). In this role, she provides oversight of the Community Health Department, which includes overseeing the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Community Benefit Reporting regulations and requirements for UM BWMC, and the development and implementation of community-based initiatives to increase access to health care and address social determinants of health for residents of Anne Arundel County.
To enhance her expertise in the field, Kelly completed an undergraduate and graduate degree in Community Health and Health Administration at Towson University and received a Master Community Health Education Specialist (MCHES) certification through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
Prior to starting at UM BWMC, Kelly worked as a Community Health Education Specialist at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center for over 9 years with extensive background in strategic planning, program development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based health programs.
