Jake Joyce
Jake Joyce is the Chief Marketing Officer at Cordish Gaming, a leader in casino-resort design, development and operations. Since its opening in 2012, Cordish Gaming has been operating Live! Casino Hotel in Hanover, MD, located along the Baltimore-Washington corridor and one of the largest commercial gaming, retail and entertainment destinations in the United States. In 2019, Cordish Gaming broke ground on two new casino properties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania totaling nearly $1 billion, which are expected to open in late 2020.
Prior to joining Cordish in March of 2019, Joyce was the Senior Vice President of Technology at NRT Corporation after it acquired OfferCraft, a SaaS-based gamification startup founded in 2016, where he was the Chief Operating Officer charged with growing the operations team and overseeing all day-to-day activities.
Before OfferCraft, Joyce served as the Vice President of Casino Marketing at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas where he oversaw all aspects of casino marketing including analytics, customer relationship marketing, direct mail, player development, special events, and financial planning and analysis. Prior to joining Palms in September 2012, Joyce also spent several years employed as a Director with Applied Analysis, an economic consulting and market research firm. Joyce started his career as a business analyst and manager of corporate databases with Herbst Gaming.
Prior to moving to Maryland in 2019, Joyce spent 15 years in Las Vegas, NV, where he was a founding member of the United Way of Southern Nevada’s Young Philanthropist Society. In March 2015, VEGAS INC. honored Joyce with its “Top 40 Under 40 Award.” Joyce also holds the title of Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest honor bestowed by Toastmasters International. Joyce has also been quoted in and published dozens of articles on economic topics of local and national significance. Joyce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona.
