Debra Einstein, Development Director

Debra Einstein is the Development Director for the Chesapeake Arts Center and has a deep passion for charitable work that supports youth and families in the region. Her over 20 years’ experience as a philanthropy professional includes both sides of philanthropy - securing support from corporations and foundations and from cause-driven individuals.

Debra brings her unique experience in both asking and giving; she began her development career at Anne Arundel Community College Foundation. Debra then moved into Institutional Advancement at Johns Hopkins University, Annual Fund. Prior to joining CAC, she worked at The Y in Central Maryland as Development Director, then as Executive Director, Donor Relations.

She received her B.A. at University of Maryland Global Campus. Debra’s passion for community service includes as a current member of the AACO Rotary Club. She has served on boards for the Annapolis Chamber of Commerce and the Severna Park Chamber and is a graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel, FLG16.
