Sharonda Huffman, Secretary

Sharonda L. Huffman has a diverse background in real estate, human services, law, insurance, and disability fields.  As the Accessibility and Compliance Coordinator of a municipality, Huffman directs disability related initiatives.  She recently founded an educational advocacy company with her husband – Ableism Justice.

Huffman has been asked to be the keynote speaker for several webinars, training and workshops related to the cross section of discrimination related disability.  She is a certified American with Disabilities Act Coordinator.

She is a volunteer leader in the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority community service organization, where she has served for almost 20 years in numerous roles with youth, the elderly, the military, and families. Having served on the local, regional, and national levels of the organization, Huffman most recently served as the vice president of a local chapter.  She also holds memberships with the Baltimore Urban League, NAACP, National Federation of the Blind, National Association of Parliamentarians, and the American Society of Public Administration

Huffman earned a BA in Political Science from Morgan State University and attends Strayer University pursuing a master’s in public administration.
