New safety protocols at the Chesapeake Arts Center- A letter from our Executive Director, Belinda Fraley Huesman

April 25th, there are new safety protocols in place as part of ongoing efforts to improve Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC), regarding safety, patron experience, and public perception.
CAC now has surveillance monitoring as well as an IP system with video/door access in alignment with the community partners residing in the Brooklyn Park Middle School complex.
CAC will use discretion when large groups and classes are entering the building at the same time; however, please know the safety of every individual is of utmost importance to us. There will be a balance as this procedure is to instill confidence and empower our students, staff and instructors.
Thank you for your understanding moving forward in the new procedures and protocol. If there are any concerns regarding this new system, my email is I will be glad to address any questions or concerns.
Belinda Fraley Huesman
CEO/Executive Director
On behalf of the Board of Directors
